Alonso Duralde

Alonso Duralde is the author of 101 Must-See Movies for Gay Men and the upcoming Have Yourself a Movie Little Christmas. His reviews can currently be read at MSNBC.com and AfterElton.com, and he is a frequent contributor to The Rotten Tomatoes Show on the Current cable network. Duralde spent six years as Arts and Entertainment Editor for The Advocate, and another five as Artistic Director of the USA Film Festival/Dallas and KidFilm, the oldest and largest children's film festival in the United States. His writing has also appeared in the Village Voice, Movieline, Movies.com, Attitude and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, among many others. Duralde has made numerous appearances on television and DVD discussing film, including the documentaries Fabulous!: The Story of Queer Cinema and Here's Looking at You, Boy; IFC's acclaimed four-part Indie Sex series; and the special-edition DVDs of Brokeback Mountain and Valley of the Dolls. He is currently treasurer of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association.
