MIKE GOODRIDGE
Mike Goodridge is US editor of Screen International and its sister website screendaily.com, and chief US critic for the titles. He has regular columns in The Evening Standard in the UK and El Cultural (the arts section of El Mundo) in Spain. He has written on film for many titles around the world including Sight & Sound, The Guardian, The Independent, The Sunday Times, The Mail On Sunday and The Daily Telegraph in the UK and The Advocate in the US. His first book Directing was published in 2002 and features intensive interviews with 15 great living film-makers including Lars Von Trier, Ken Loach and Roman Polanski. He chairs an annual jury named for Krzysztof Kieslowski at the Denver Film Festival in November and has served on numerous festival juries including Sundance, Montreal, Chicago, Seattle, Miami, AFI FEST, LAFF and Hungarian Film Week in Budapest.
