SCOTT FOUNDAS is film editor and chief film critic for L.A. Weekly, in addition to which his writing appears regularly in The Village Voice and other Village Voice Media publications. He is a past contributor to Variety, The New York Times, Cinema Scope (Canada), Cahiers du Cinema (France), and Total Film (U.K.). Since 2004, he has also been the regular Friday-morning movie reviewer for the nationally-syndicated Mark & Brian radio program. A 1999 graduate of the USC School of Cinema-Television, Foundas has served on official festival juries at the Cannes, Sundance, and Vancouver film festivals and is a current member of the New York Film Festival selection committee.
