Wade Major is senior film critic for Boxoffice Magazine and a regular featured critic on NPR’s FilmWeek. He is also co-host and producer of the popular IGN DigiGods podcast and can be heard weekly during Mike Miller’s drive time show on WIMA Ohio. As a filmmaker and documentarian he has produced or directed such films as the award-winning documentary “Schlock: The Secret History of American Movies” along with festival hits “Sculptress” and “Sea Servant.” His work has been published by Los Angeles Times, the New York Daily News and ABCNews.com. He appears regularly on Reelz Channel's "What It Takes" and has authored and contributed to several books on Asian cinema. Among his numerous DVD audio commentaries are Takashi Miike's "Gozu," the cult classic "Master of the Flying Guillotine" and Andre Techiné's "Barocco." He holds a degree in Film and Television from UCLA.
