Wade Major is a regular critic for NPR affiliate KPCC's weekly FilmWeek program as well as co-host and producer of the popular IGN DigiGods podcast. Wade can also be heard weekly during Mike Miller’s drive time show on WIMA Ohio. Previously a Senior Film Critic at Boxoffice Magazine, his work has been featured in such publications as the Los Angeles Times, the New York Daily News and ABCNews.com. His work as both author and contributor includes the acclaimed "Hollywood East" and the Metrobooks biography "Jackie Chan." Among his numerous DVD audio commentaries are Takashi Miike's "Gozu," the cult classic "Master of the Flying Guillotine," Andre Techiné's "Barocco" and "The Brontë Sisters," and Costa-Gavras' "Amen." He the producer of the award-winning documentary “Schlock: The Secret History of American Movies” and producer/director of festival hits “Sculptress” and “Sea Servant.” He holds a degree in Film and Television from UCLA.
